Auctioneer and appraiser Debra Remmen, is a graduate of Missouri Auction School and the Certified Appraiser Guild of America. She retains auction license in the States Ohio and Florida. She is a native Oregonian and resides in Portland with her family.
Debra was a business owner in the Portland area for over twenty-five years before opening Remmen Auction LLC. She realizes that being a female in the auction industry is not easy, since it is primarily a male dominated field. Her dedication and hard work is making great strides in her professional career.
Debra is very proud to be a member of the National Auctioneers Association and strongly believes in all auctioneers belonging to organizations that promote professionalism and abide by ethics. Kris Remmen was raised in the Los Angeles area. He became very involved in the antique world at a young age. In the early 1960's His Mother owned an operated Lovejoy Antiques in Toluca Lake. California. The shop was situated across the street from Warner Bros. Lovejoy antiques and Warner Bros worked closely together on many productions. Kris learned at a young age what it was like to travel and hunt antiques.
For thirty five years he was a master gemstone cutter selling to award winning designers. He was co-owner of Coinex in La Crescenta CA. Coinex was involved in national coin shows and traded in Coins, Gold, and Silver. Unexpectedly, Kris passed away on July 24, 2012. His Vast Knowledge and Experience in the Auction field will be greatly missed
